Makassar. November 17th, 2023.

It’s been three weeks since I left Kansas City. After two weeks just focusing being with Amenk and family… now I’m ready to meet up with my extended family and friends. We have only been communicating through social media all these years. But that warm feelings never go away even though we are over 9,000 miles away!

Meeting up with Jaya. We used to live in Omaha, Nebraska together when we were young. Now she owns coffee shop near Losari area. Tokio Coffee Lab. The best coffee in Makassar, in my opinion.

And so blessed that I got to meet up with most of Papa’ Rahman AT’s clan. Ninda, Jihan, mama’ and papa’. May Allah bless all of you with endless happiness.

I also visited one of relatives here in Makassar, Reny. She’s one of a kind. It’s so much fun being with her.
