Day 6!
My sister, Amenk and I were just driving around the crowded city. Iโm amazed how different the city looks since I left here 27 years ago. There are plenty of new malls, new hotels, new restaurants, new cafes, new โCityโโฆ CPI, Center Point of Indonesia. Thereโs no doubt, that the city of Makassar is growing rapidly. Itโs a great travel destination, especially for foodies like me โบ๏ธ
What makes me sad is the city is very dirty. There are trash every where. People donโt have the awareness to keep Makassar clean. I hope they can change that.

We went to mamaโs favorite โbreakfastโ place in the city. They have the best โyellow riceโ dish in my opinion.

Day 7!
Itโs hard getting up this morning. Iโm missing my babies back home. But Iโm fortunate that I got to FaceTime them 2/3 times a day. Thank you technology.
Going to the mall becomes a routine here. Because of the extreme heat lately, the electric company has been turning off the power almost every day for few hours at a time! So where do people go to cool off? Theyโre going to the mall ๐
Iโve been enjoying quality time with my sister. I thank God I still have the opportunity to see her and her family. Iโm just heartbroken that I canโt see my mama anymore. Iโm sorry mama ๐ข Youโre always in our hearts and will be forever missed.

Day 8!
Happy Sunday everyone, except Miami and itโs fans.
Today weโre just hanging out at home. Nawir, a friend of the family bought some fish to grill at home. So good! This is what Iโve been missing. Hanging out with friends and family, talk about nothing, and enjoying food and drinks together. Iโm feeling blessed, ya Allahโฆ
