We settled at Goulding’s Monument Valley last night. Our family friends, Richard & Suzie, recommended going through the Monument Valley on the way to mesa Verde. And we thankful for that.
I woke up to go to the bathroom in the morning and saw the most beautiful sunrise in between the mountains through our windows. I didn’t take the photo because I mesmerized. And picture is not going to do justice.
As we continued our journey, we decided to go off-road for about 40 minutes or so at Valley of Gods. It’s beautiful surrounding, and the most fun time we had on this road trip. We were laughing so hard until we cried. It’s fun to hear Chloe’s laughing so hard. And Clover was loving it. We know grandma would not approved. Chloe was very sad when we finished the “off-road” detour.

Four Corners.
We arrived at Mesa Verde around 5 pm. But it’s too late to do any tours. We are kind of disappointed. We had a few pictures from it. We thought we might be back in the morning to do some tour, but that means it going to cut our time in Durango and Sand Dunes.
To end the perfect evening. We saw the most beautiful sunset. It is like out of this world. It’s intensely pinkish-red, enlarged, almost changing shape. The clouds intensified the colour into something we never seen before. We watched the sunset unto it slipped behind the mountain. This time I took some photos, but you have to be there to feel the magic. I feel so lucky to witness the beautiful sunrise and sunset today.
