Zion National Park. Angel’s Landing…

We tried to make it inside the park by 8am. We did! But we didn’t count about how many others that are thinking the same way. So we had to wait in line for a while to get in the shuttle bus.

By the time we got to our stop, Grotto Trail, that leads to lower Emerald Pool Trail, upper Emerald Pool Trail, and the Angel’s Landing Trail, it was around 10:15am.. and the temperature was already around 105 degrees. We chose to do the Angel’s Landing Trail. We geared up, we had water ready, snacks ready, milk, and diapers ready for our hike. People were looking at us crazy. We knew we were crazy!

It’s about 10 minutes going into the trail, Chloe was already complaining about her legs being tired and hot. I don’t blame her. But I knew I couldn’t do the trail hearing that all the way up. So Cord let me go on my own so I could do it. And I did!!! I can’t thank him enough for being patience waiting for me with the girls for four hours. It took me about an hour or so after the hike to recover. Trust me on this, just drink lots of water after the hike. Not the smoothie, or ice cream, or Coke. Other wise you’ll get sick !!!

Cord will do the hike tomorrow morning. And I might do easy trails with the girls tomorrow before heading to Vegas.

I am going to the pool now!

And I am on my own…

Going down… for me it’s a little bit harder than going up !

The steps count.
